Abstract: The process and characteristics of self-propagation high-temperation synthesis（SHS） ceramic-lined compound steel pipes and the measures to improve the corrosive resistance of SHS compound pipe have been introduced． SHS stainless steel pipe has also been introduced with the corrosive resistance10times longer than that of the ordinary oil gas pipes．The application prospects of SHS compound pipe in oil gas pipe is forecasted．
