Abstract: The principles of magnetic card and requirements for magnetic strip used in magnetic card are introduced and the performances of three kinds of magnetic strips are compared. A transfer magnetic strip is developed which behaves as those imported products with coercive force 280~360Oe and relative residual flux 100%±5%. The intensity of readout signal keeps above 90% of the initial value after 2000 times use.
