Abstract: In this paper, the influence of the silver additives on the performance of the MH electrode is investigated. The results show that the amount of the gas escaped from the simulated cell is obviously reduced when 3wt% silver is added.lt can be concluded that adding the Ag catalyst into the MH electrode for oxygen reduction is an effective method in suppressing the internal pressure of MH/Ni battery.
