Tribological Properties and Anti-corrosion Behavior of Ion Beam Depositing Diamond-like Carbon Film

  • 摘要: 研究了沉积类金刚石膜 (DLC)的40Cr钢的摩擦磨损性质,定量分析了DLC膜的耐蚀性。研究表明 :DLC膜能显著降低 40Cr钢表面摩擦系数和表面粗糙度,在相同载荷条件下DLC膜的磨损速率比40Cr钢低2个数量级;在各种腐蚀介质中,DLC膜的腐蚀速率明显低于40Cr的,且其电极电位、自然腐蚀电位和点蚀击穿电位均高于 40Cr钢的,表明DLC膜可提高40Cr钢的耐蚀性能。

     

    Abstract: The friction and wear behavior of diamond-like carbon (DLC) deposited 40Cr steel are investigated, the anti-corrosion behavior of DLC films is analyzed quantitively.It is indicated that the DLC film can decrease the friction cofficient and roughness of surface of 40 Cr steel obviously.The wear rate of DLC is two orders of magnitude lower than that of 40 Cr steel on the same load and the corrosion rate is much lower in various corrosion solution. The electrode potential,corrosion potential and critical pitting corrosion potential of DLC films are higher than those of 40Cr steel substrate indicating that DLC films can improve the anti-corrosion behavior of 40Cr steel.
