Abstract:
The effects of some factors including oxygen content, impurity, microstructure, drawing rate and electroslag remelting on the ductility of BFe30-1-1 alloy ingot are investigated. The results manifest that the oxygen content and the impurity have light impact on the ductility of the ingot, the coarse grains and defects in the ingot will deteriorate the ductility. The columnar grain zones are beneficial to the quality control of the forging of the ingot, so are the slow and interrupted drawing and electroslag remelting.
