Abstract: The preheating temperature for the welding of concast 10CrNiCu steel is analyzed by estimation and experiment.The results show that the steel has good weldability and preheating is unnecessary in ordinary welding environment, but on the conditions of low temperature with high humidity,high carbon equivalent and intense structure restraint ,the preheating at above 60℃ is demanded.
