Abstract: A simple and easy method to increase the infrared stealth capacity of an object is to paint them with infrared stealthy paints. In this paper,the principle and the main components of the camouflage coatings are introduced.The present research situation and development of the infrared camouflage coatings are reviewed,and its developing trend is covered.
