Abstract: Non-magnetic engine is the main power for high magnetic-protective mechanical equipment.However, materials used in non-magnetic engine shall be nonmagnetic or low-magnetic in addition to passess suitable mechanical properties.Several materials including cast irons, steels, light metals, composites, ceramics and their characteristics are introduced and the potential use in non-magnetic engine is also discussed.
