Abstract:
Taking epoxy resin and vermiculite powder as raw materials, kinds of underwater-acoustic functional graded materials(FGM) were prepared throngh microwave curing.Effects of microwave curing on glass transition temperature(
Tg) and dynamic mechanical performance were investigated.Discussion was emphasised on underwater sound performance of the FGMs.The results indicated that microwave curing is feasible in preparation of FGM,the effects of microwave curing on glass transition temperature and dynamic mechanics performance are imperceptible and the microwave cured FGMs have good sound absorption performance, indicating that the microwave curing enhances the sound absorption performance of the FGMs in low frequency range.
