Study of Phosphate Coatings for Fe Based Soft Magnetic Composites

摘要: 利用化学处理法在铁磁粉表面直接生成无机磷酸盐包覆层,并采用粉末冶金法进行压制烧结得到铁粉基软磁复合材料(SMCs)。利用扫描电子显微镜和X射线衍射对SMC材料包覆层的显微形貌和组成进行了分析,并利用差热热重分析法探讨了包裹层的高温变化。结果表明,化学处理法能够实现铁粉表面的磷酸盐包覆,且在600℃左右非晶态磷酸铁会发生晶化作用,从而可能转变成可导体使包裹层的绝缘性被破坏,而非其高温热分解造成,这还需要进一步的电阻测量试验来证实。Abstract: Inorganic phosphate coating was prepared on the surface of iron powders by chemical method.Powder metallurgy process was employed to obtain the soft magnetic composite(SMC)components by compacting and heat treating the powders.The particles were characterized by means of scanning electron microscopy(SEM),X-ray diffraction(XRD)and thermogravimetry-differential thermal analysis(TG-DTA).The results suggest that thermall stable phosphate coated iron powder can be prepared with chemical method.Resistive insulation of the coat may break down due to the crystallization of the amorphous phosphate coating at above 600℃ which needs to be proved through further resistivity tests.
