Abstract: By means of SEM,EDS and metallography microscope,the fracture reasons of stainless steel wire of 201 and 200Cu were analyzed. The results show that un-stability of austenitic phase brought about corrosion between grain boundary easily,and the un-equality stress during drawing brought about small cracks and then expand at the following drawing process which resulted in the failure.
