Abstract: The high-strength submarine steel used in American and Japan submarine was presented in this paper,including the chemical compositions and mechanical properties requirement for 450-1100MPa yield strength steels.And in the aspect of welding consumables,the chemical composition and mechanical properties requirement for different welding consumables including covered electrode,gas-shielded welding wire,submerged arc welding wire and flux are listed,and the chemical composition and mechanical properties for partial welding consumables products are also given.The intensity match of welding joint of the highest strength submarine steel is also covered.
