Abstract:
In this paper,multi-point forming technique is employed in the forming of car roof.On the theoretical basis of so-called bifurcated sufficiency condition on elastic plastic materials of Hill's and virtual power principle,a fintie element model for multi-point forming is given,which is suitable for three kinds of nonlinear field problems pertaining to material and geometry with strong bend effect and discontinuous boundary condition.The method dealing discontinuous dynamic contact boundary condition and Coulomb friction boundary conditions is introduced.According to classical J2 flow theory,a multi-point forming process of car roof is simulated and experriment is carried out to verify the validity of numerical simulation.
