Abstract: Friction material in automotive brake system plays an important role in effective and safe braking.Polymer matrix friction materials of automotive brake are summarized including matrix,reinforcements,friction modifiers and fillers,and the development trend of polymer matrix friction materials of automotive brake is pointed out.
