Abstract: In accord with requirement of property index of welding electrode GYSD608,the technical route and the formula design principle of the electrode development are described.Tests indicated that the developed electrode was of well performance in utilization and the hardness of the butt weld metal was above HRC 60.Comparing with the same kind to welding electrodes,the hardness of the butt weld layer is in the similar level,but GYSD608 shows better resistance to abrasion and high performance-to-price ratio.
