Abstract: Thermal spraying techniques,spraying procedure,spraying material,structure of spraying coat,disposal of spraying coat and the wear mechanism of spraying coat for friction and wear are reviewed,the practice of thermal spraying coat in friction and wear is introduced,the main reasons and forms of the spraying coat failure in friction and wear are analyzed,and the methods to improve the capability of thermal spraying technology for friction and wear are put forward.
