Abstract:
Monodisperse spherical Cu
2O powder of about 0.9~2.0μm in diameter has been prepared by glucose reduction of Cu(OH)
2 precursor without any additives in high reaction concentration and alkaline system.The effects of reaction temperature and concentration of NaOH,glucose and CuSO
4 on the morohology and particle size of Cu
2O powder were investigated.Scanning electron microscopy and X-ray diffraction were used to characterize Cu
2O powder.Meanwhile,according to the theory of crystal nucleation and growth,the effects of above factors on the morohology and particle size of Cu
2O powder were discussed.
