Abstract:
Titania nanotube has a good application prospect in degradation of pollutants via photoelectrocatalysis for its excellent photocatalytic performance and photoelectric conversion properties.The paper introduces the preparation method and formation mechanism of titania nanotube, moreover, some measures to improve the photocatalytic activity of titania nanotube are discussed, including transition metal ion doping, rare earth elements doping, noble metal deposition, semiconductor-composited and light sensitization.
