Abstract: The progress in study of boron-modified conventional titanium alloys and TiAl alloys are reviewed in this paper.The effects of boron are analyzed from microstructure,mechanical properties,the morphology and distribution of boride and the mechanism of grain refinement points of view.Furthermore,evolution directions of boron-modified titanium alloys are prospected.
