Abstract: This paper describes the present research status of the materials made with selective laser sintering(SLS) of rapid prototyping technology at home and abroad,including metal materials,polymer material,ceramic materials,etc.It highlights the research of a kind of new materials——wood-plastic composite materials(WPC),and points out that because of its benefits such as low-cost,biodegradable and recyclable,etc,it will become the trend of the future development of SLS.
