Abstract: High oil-absorbing resin is a kind of new functional polymers which is different from the old one.The research status of high oil-absorbing resin,is described,the absorbing mechanism,is introduced,the synthesis and preparation methods are involved and the effect of monomer,initiator,crosslinking agent and dispersant on high oil absorption properties of oil-absorbing resin is investigated.Application of high oil-absorbing resin is also coveved in the end.
