LaPO4/Al2O3可加工陶瓷的磨削加工损伤与表征

Grinding Damage and Characterization of Machinable Ceramic LaPO4/Al2O3

  • 摘要: 磨削加工是目前陶瓷材料的主要加工方法,通过对LaPO4/Al2O3可加工陶瓷的磨削试验研究,进一步分析了陶瓷材料的磨削去除机理、磨削加工损伤以及加工损伤导致的材料力学性能的变化。结果表明,LaPO4/Al2O3可加工陶瓷磨削去除方式主要有两种,脆性去除和塑性变形去除。磨削加工对材料表面及亚表面的加工损伤较为明显,加工损伤层的厚度在15μm左右。磨削加工损伤导致材料的硬度和抗弯强度都有一定程度的下降,而且主要与磨削加工的脆性去除方式有关。

     

    Abstract: Grinding is one of the most important method for machining of ceramic.LaPO4/Al2O3 machinable ceramic was grinded by the surface grinding machine,and the grinding removal mechanism,grinding damage,and changes of mechanical properties induced by grinding damage were investigated.The results show that there are two forms of grinding removal of the LaPO4/Al2O3 machinable ceramic,brittle removal and plastic deformation removal.Grinding damage on the surface and sub-surface is obvious and the grinding damage layer thickness is about 15 μm.Because the grinding damage,the hardness and the bending strength of the material decreased to some extent,which is mainly related to the brittle removal.
