Abstract: There are many notable specialties about the welding of titanium itself for titanium/steel clad metal plate.Brittle crack is liable to appear in welds composed of titanium and steel,so the welds of titanium in titanium/steel clad metal plate becomes much more complex.The cause and the prevention of welding imperfects in titanium clad of titanium steel clad plate for power station chimney are analyzed in this paper.
