硝酸作为阳极电解液在锌-铈液流电池中的应用

Application of Nitric Acid in Zinc-cerium Flow Battery as Electrolyte of Anode

  • 摘要: 锌-铈液流电池是一种全新的液流电池体系。但由于铈阳极一侧的低溶解度,使得锌-铈电池在应用方面受到很大限制。使用硝酸作为铈阳极一侧电解液,可以增大铈的溶解度,从而大幅提升液流电池的储能量。随后对电池的充放电性能进行了测试,结果表明液流电池体系使用硝酸比甲磺酸作为阳极电解液,电池充放电性能更加稳定。

     

    Abstract: For zinc-cerium flow battery as a new system,the low solubility of anode limits the application of the battery. With nitric acid as electrolyte of anode, solubility of cerium ions and energy storage of zinc-cerium flow battery were improved. The performance of charge and discharge of zinc-cerium flow battery become more stable with nitric acid as the anode electrolyte than with methanesulfonic acid.
