Abstract: In this paper,the mechanical properties at room temperature,high temperature and after heat aging,as well as vertical combustion properties of the honeycomb core made of domestic and imported meta-aramid paper were investigated.It was found that the properties of medium and high density honeycomb made of domestic meta-aramid paper reach and partially surpass that of the honeycomb made of imported meta-aramid paper,the mechanical properties of low density domestic honeycomb still has gap with the imported ones.The result showes that the domestic meta-aramid paper meet the requirements of honeycomb production largely,and the domestic supply of important raw materials is guaranteed.
