中锰奥氏体钢的脆性断裂研究

Study on Brittle Fracture of Medium Manganese Steel

  • 摘要: 水韧处理的中锰钢经退火处理后有较好的加工性能,但再经水韧处理,其室温拉伸试验发生了沿晶+解理的脆性断裂,并且塑性大幅下降。通过断口形貌、显微组织、X射线衍射和表面分析等手段,对这种特殊断裂现象进行了研究。结果表明,沿晶断裂是杂质元素在晶界偏聚的结果,而解理断裂与大量沿晶断裂的产生和奥氏体晶粒中的变形孪晶有关,其解理面为面心立方结构的(111)密排面。

     

    Abstract: Water toughened medium manganese steel demonstrates good workability after annealing treatment, while water retoughening after machining, lead the steel brittle fracture combined with cleavage and inter-granular fracture in room-temperature tensile tests, and considerable drop down in ductility. Research was made on the brittle fracture with methods including fracture morphology, microstructures, X-ray diffraction and surface analysis. The results showed that the inter-granular fracture resulted from aggregation of impurities in grain boundaries, and the cleavage fracture closely related to accruing of large number of inter-granular fractures and existence of deformational twins inside austenite grains. The cleavage plane is the close-packed plane (111) of a F. C. C structure.
