Abstract: Mercury and hot extraction method are utilized to measure diffusible hydrogen escape velocity of 590 MPa grade high strength electrode at different temperatures,the expression of diffusible hydrogen escape velocity is established related to the temperature,the validity of this expression is also examined.As a result,this expression can be applied to calculate transient diffusible hydrogen content in weld metal precisely.
