Abstract: In this paper,the material characteristics of graphite foam was analyzed,and dry machining methods were researched by milling,diamond wire saw and Wire-cut edm. By contrast,wire-cut edm is a valid dry machining method for graphite foam,in the examination of product,the graphite foam has good surface quality and high micro porous percentage is achieved.
