Abstract:
The large-size aluminium alloy-pure aluminium-steel(5083/1060/CCSB) clad plate for marine use was manufactured by explosive welding, whose bonding quality, mechanical properties and interface configuration were studied. The results showed that clad plate was well bonded; the shear strength of aluminium/steel interface reached 75 MPa or above, and the other mechanical properties all met the requirements prescribed in
Rules for Materials and Welding by CCS coming into effect in 2012 and Q/725—1100—2001; the analysis of interface configuration showed that the aluminium/steel interface was very straight, while aluminium/aluminium interface was sine shaped.
