Abstract:
Magnetocaloric effect of LaFe
12.3-xCo
0.7Si
xB
0.25(
x=1.1,1.2,1.1,1.2,1. 5,1.6) alloy was investigated and it was found that the increasing Si content could elevate the Curie temperature of the material,but could decrease the material of adiabatic temperature. Further LaFe
11.2Co
0.7Si
1.1B
0.25 alloy having the highest adiabatic temperature change,found that the alloy could promote generation and diffusion reaction of the main phase(NaZn13 phase). And the biggest magnetic entropy into the alloy was 7.3 J/kg,K,2. 2 times of pure Gd.
