Influence of Si on Magnetocaloric Effect of LaFe12.3-xCo0.7SixB0.25Series Alloy

  • 摘要: 通过对LaFe12.3-xCo0.7SixB0.25(x=1.1,1.2,1.3,1.4,1.5,1.6)合金的磁热效应的研究,发现随着合金元素Si含量的增加可以提高材料的居里温度,但会使材料的绝热温变值有所下降。针对绝热温变值最大的LaFe12.3-xCo0.7SixB0.25合金进行进一步研究,发现该合金能够促进主相(NaZn13相)的生成和扩散反应进行。且该合金的最大磁熵变为7.3 J/kg·K,是工业纯Gd的2.2倍,具有一定的研究价值。

     

    Abstract: Magnetocaloric effect of LaFe12.3-xCo0.7SixB0.25(x=1.1,1.2,1.1,1.2,1. 5,1.6) alloy was investigated and it was found that the increasing Si content could elevate the Curie temperature of the material,but could decrease the material of adiabatic temperature. Further LaFe11.2Co0.7Si1.1B0.25 alloy having the highest adiabatic temperature change,found that the alloy could promote generation and diffusion reaction of the main phase(NaZn13 phase). And the biggest magnetic entropy into the alloy was 7.3 J/kg,K,2. 2 times of pure Gd.
