Abstract: Marine environment parameters and characteristics of fouling organisms distribution in the Chinese yellow sea, the east China sea, and the south China sea are introduced. Performances of homemade acrylic acid zinc polishing antifouling coating in the three waters were examined, meanwhile, the fresh water immersion resistance, dry- wet alternate resistance, and copper ion leaching rate were tested.Results show that the acrylic acid zinc polishing antifouling coating prepared show good perfor-mance in anti-fouling in the yellow sea, the east China sea and the south China sea, and the antifouling coating has good water soaking resistance and dry-wet alternate performance.
