Abstract: Accuracy and validity of results from fatigue and fracture tests of materials are usually affected by many factors. In this paper, two types of aspects such as different processing methods of original test data and test environments and their influence on the results of fatigue and fracture tests of materials were discussed, which would provide support for performing fatigue and fracture test and getting exact and reliable test data for the engineering design and reliable service assessment.
