Abstract:
Titanium dioxide photogenerated cathodic protection material, with its unique optoelectronic properties, converts light from the sun to electrons directly, which will reduce the electric potential of the metal so as to protect it from corrosion without the consumption of the material. And it is an ideal cathodic protection material. In this paper, we reviewed the development of nono-TiO
2 photogenerated cathodic protection material in recent years at home and abroad, mainly introduced the preparation and modification methods for nano-TiO
2 and the research work in improving the performance of photogenerated cathodic protection, discussed the photogenerated cathodic protective mechanism of nano-TiO
2 materials, and prospected development of photogenerated cathodic protection materials.
