Abstract: The tailor-welding process of 254SMO plate was studied. The results showed that the mechanical and process performances and corrosion resistance of the welded joint could meet the requirements of relevant standards. The joint had no hardening phenomenon and there was no σ phase found in heat affected zone of the base metal.
