Abstract:
The galvanic corrosion behaviors of albronze, Ti80 alloy and 2205 double-phase stainless steel were studied by loss weight and electrochemical methods. The results showed that the self-corrosion potential of Ti80 alloy was positive and that its anti-corrosion performance was good, with that of 2205 stainless steel followed, and that the self-corrosion potential of albronze was negative. In seawater, when albronze was coupled with Ti80 alloy or 2205 stainless steel, albronze was anode and its corrosion accelerated, and its corrosion rate was two times higher than that of self-corrosion. When albronze coupled with Ti80 alloy and 2205 stainless steel, the corrosion of albronze, the anode, accelerated, the corrosion rate of Ti80 alloy cathode was almost unchanged, and that of 2205 stainless steel, the anode, decreased. As the area of the anode albronze decreased, its corrosion accelerated, and the corrosion rate of Ti80 alloy still had no obvious change.
