Abstract: The major types of low magnetic steels are introduced, and the development status of the nitrogen strengthening, precipitation hardening and stain strengthening high strength low-magnetic steels is reviewed. The future development direction of high strength low-magnetic steels is pointed out, for example, high strength low-magnetic steels with good toughness need to be further exploited and the research on pressure metallurgical technology adapted to industrialized production should be strengthened.
