Abstract: The revision background, revision principle, standard structure, revision contents and change of the techniques of the 4949—2018 Chemical Analysis Methods for Sacrificial Anodes of Al-Zn-In System Alloy were introduced.The differences and relationship between the new standard and old one and other national and foreign standards were analyzed and described as well. At last, some suggestions on the future development of the standards were put forward based on the development of instrumental analysis methods and sacrificial anodes material technology.
