Abstract: The characteristics and applications of the cyclic butylene terephthalate(CBT) were briefly introduced. The research status of fiber-reinforced CBT resin matrix composites was reviewed, including the preparation process, mechanical properties and applications, and the development of its application in composite material field was summarized and forecasted.
