Abstract:
Continuous glass fiber(GF) reinforced high fluidity polypropylene(PP) composite material were prepared by blending extrusion and the second preheating mold, and the influence of the different preparation conditions on the mechanical properties of composite materials were discussed. The results show that with the increase of the number of fiber yarn and rotating speed of the main screw, the tensile modulus, the bending modulus and the glass fiber content of the LGF/PP increase gradually, and that the tensile strength, bending strength and impact strength reduce gradually. With the increase of the main feeding speed, the tensile modulus, bending modulus and the glass fiber content of the LGF/PP reduce gradually, and the bending strength, impact strength and tensile strength increase gradually.
