Abstract:
The white short-scratch defect of 304 stainless steel 2B plate is studied. The microstructure and the main compositions of the defect are analyzed by electron microscope, and the improvement measures are put forward. By optimizing the thickness of intermediate billet, the speed of finishing rolling, the load of each stand and the temperature of roll surface, the white short-scratch defect of cold-rolled 2B plate is effectively controlled, and the incidence of defects drops from 2.58% to 0.13%.
