Abstract:
Ti6Al4V alloy seamless tubes of φ41 mm×2.5 mm are prepared by cold rolling. EBSD technology is used to study the intermediate annealing and final annealing samples. It is found that the texture evolution is greatly affected by the
Q value(diameter reduction ratio divided by thickness reduction ratio) during cold rolling. When the
Q value is large, the inner surface of the pipe is mainly reduced in wall deformation, and the orientation is mainly tilted to the basal texture; while the outer surface is mainly reduced in diameter, and the orientation is tilted in the RD direction. When the
Q value is small, the inner and the outer surfaces are mainly reduced in diameter, and the orientation is tilted from the tilted basal texture in the RD direction to the <1-100> texture.
