Abstract:
Hybrid fiber composite is a composite material with two or more kinds of fibers reinforcing the matrix. Through the interaction between the fibers and the matrix, a good hybrid effect is generated, so that the composite material has excellent properties that a single component does not have. Carbon fiber has high price, high stiffness but low ductility, while glass fiber has low price and low modulus but high ductility. Through the coordination of two kinds of fibers, carbon glass hybrid composite material can have good modulus and damping performance, and can also reduce the cost. Therefore, carbon glass hybrid composites have a good application prospect. At present, a few scholars have studied the influence of the structure of carbon glass hybrid composites on damping performance. Here is reviewed the research progress of the influence of carbon glass hybrid composite structure on damping in both algorithmic and experimental aspects, and are proposed the measures to improve damping performance and the future research trends.
