Abstract:
According to the application environment, missions and development trend of unmanned underwater vehicle (UUV), seven major requirements are proposed of UUV equipment, including high corrosion resistance, low magnetic or non-magnetic, high strength and high rigidity, good manufacturing process, light weight functional integration and low cost. Through the comparative analysis of typical materials commonly used in specific parts of UUV equipment, the selection principles are given, which have certain reference value for the selection of materials for UUV equipment and other unmanned underwater systems.
