Abstract: Ship fire hazard can cause great harm, so fire insulation materials are widely used. Here are introduced the construction of standard system of marine fire insulation materials, basic performance requirements, types of action mechanism and research progress. In addition, the influence of laying quality of fire insulation materials and the performance evaluation methods are described.
