Finite Element Analysis on Restraint Intensity of Ti80 Alloy Specimen with Y-joint Groove

  • 摘要: 针对船舶构件用20 mm厚Ti80合金板材,基于弹塑性力学理论,使用ABAQUS软件分别对带加载块和不带加载块的斜Y坡口试样进行拘束度的有限元模拟,并对带加载块试样的拘束度进行实测。结果显示,带加载块试样的模拟值与实测值基本一致,表明有限元模拟方法的准确性。带加载块试样的拘束度值与加载块间距有关,间距越小,拘束度值越小。不带加载块试样的拘束度值明显低于带加载块试样的,使用带加载块试样评价焊接裂纹敏感性偏保守。

     

    Abstract: The 20 mm-thick Ti80 alloy plates are used as ship structural component. On theoretical basis of elastic-plastic mechanics, the restraint intensities of Y grooved specimens with or without load block are analyzed by ABAQUS software, and the restraint intensity of the specimens with load block are measured.Resultsshow that the values obtained from simulation and actual measurement are in accordance, presenting that the accuracy of the finite element simulation. The restraint intensity of the specimen is relative to the distance between the load blocks. The smaller the distance is, the smaller the restraint intensity is. The restraint intensity of the specimen without load block is significantly smaller than that of the specimen with load block. It's conservative to use the specimens with load blocks to evaluate crack sensitivity.
