Abstract:
Quenching and series temperature tempering heat treatments are carried out on 42CrMo, 12CrNi5MoV, 42CrMoVNb and 30Cr2Ni2Mo steels used for fasteners, the heat treatment processes that can meet the requirements of 1 000 MPa fasteners are explored, and the hydrogen adsorption capacity and hydrogen embrittlement sensitivity of the materials under the same strength conditions are studied. The results show that 12CrNi5MoV steel has good comprehensive mechanical properties and strong resistance to hydrogen induced fracture.
