Abstract:
Pitting corrosion resistance test, hydrogen induced cracking resistance test(HIC), sulfide stress corrosion cracking resistance test(SSC), and uniform corrosion test under high H
2S-containing gas field are carried out on three typical titanium alloys(TT42, TT52, TT70).Results show that the three titanium alloys all have good pitting corrosion resistance, hydrogen cracking resistance and sulfide stress corrosion resistance. Under the simulated conditions of high sulfur content, the surface of titanium alloy materials have no pitting corrosion, and the average corrosion rates are 4×10
-4 mm/a, 2×10
-4 mm/a and 4×10
-4 mm/a, respectively, with almost no corrosion. The surface of three kinds of titanium alloy don't crack under the stress of 80% AYS.
