稀土元素Y对TC4钛合金力学性能的影响

Effect of Rare Earth Element Y on Mechanical Properties of TC4 Titanium Alloy

  • 摘要: 为探讨稀土元素Y对TC4钛合金力学性能的影响,熔炼制备出稀土元素Y含量(质量分数)为0.3%、0.6%、0.9%的TC4-Y钛合金,然后分别检测TC4-Y钛合金的致密度、硬度、室温拉伸性能及高温拉伸性能。结果表明,随着Y元素含量的升高,合金的致密度、硬度、强度及塑性先升高后降低。当Y含量为0.3%时,TC4钛合金的硬度最高;当Y含量为0.6%时,TC4钛合金的致密度最高,强度及塑性最好。在钛合金中加入稀土元素Y后,钛合金的晶粒尺寸迅速降低。综合考虑,当稀土元素Y的含量为0.6%时,TC4钛合金的力学性能最佳。

     

    Abstract: In order to investigate the effect of different contents of rare earth element Y on the mechanical properties of titanium alloy TC4, TC4-Y titanium alloys with rare earth element Y contents of 0.3%, 0.6% and 0.9% are prepared by smelting technology. Then the density, hardness, tensile properties at room and high temperatures of TC4-Y titanium alloys are tested. The results show that the mechanical properties of TC4 titanium alloy are improved by adding rare earth Y. With the increase of Y element content, the density, hardness, strength and plasticity of the alloy increase first and then decrease. When the Y content is 0.3%, the hardness of TC4 titanium alloy is the highest. When the Y content is 0.6%, TC4 titanium alloy has the highest density and the best strength and plasticity. The grain size of TC4 titanium alloy decreases rapidly when Y is added. When the addition of Y is 0.6%, the mechanical properties of TC4 titanium alloy are the best.
