稀土元素Nd对高铝镁合金组织性能的影响

Effect of Rare Earth Element Nd on Microstructure and Properties of High Aluminum Magnesium Alloy

  • 摘要: :研究了稀土Nd含量对Mg-10Al-Zn合金的显微组织和力学性能的影响。结果表明:添加稀土后,合金主要由α-Mg相、β-Mg17Al12相和Al2Nd相组成,其中Al2Nd相成片状分布。Nd含量为2.5%时,其抗拉强度和伸长率最大,分别为130 MPa和4.37%。该稀土镁合金的断裂为塑性断裂。

     

    Abstract: Effects of rare earth element Nd content on microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg-10 Al-Zn alloys are stud-ied.Resultsshow that after adding rare earths, the alloys are mainly composed of a-Mg, β-Mg17Al2 and Al2Nd phases, and that Al2Nd phase distributes in the shape of flakes. When adding content of Nd is 2.5%,the maximum tensile strength and elon-gation are 130 MPa and 4.37%. Fracture analysis shows that the rare earth magnesium alloy is plastic fracture.
