海底微生物燃料电池钴硫化物MOF改性阴极及其电化学性能

Cobalt Sulfides-MOF Modified Cathode and its Electrochemical Property in Marine Sediment Microbial Fuel Cell

  • 摘要: 阴极改性是提高海底沉积物微生物燃料电池(MSMFC)输出功率的方式之一。钴硫化物MOF作为一种有效的氧还原反应催化剂,可望显著提高MSMFC阴极和电池性能。将钴硫化物MOF应用于海底微生物燃料电池阴极改性并研究其电化学性能。结果表明,钴硫化物MOF改性阴极具有最佳的抗极化能力、最高的反应动力学活性和最高的输出功率。其交换电流密度为11.11mA/m2,是空白碳毡的2.14倍;其最大输出功率密度是8.27 mW/m2,约是空白碳毡阴极的5倍。

     

    Abstract: Cathode modification of marine sediment microbial fuel cell(MSMFC) is an important way to increase its output power. As an effective catalyst for oxygen reduction reaction, cobalt sulfides-MOF can enhance cathode and cell electrochemical properties. Here is investigated the cobalt sulfides-MOF modified MSMFC cathode and the electrochemistry properties.Resultsindicate that cobalt sulfides-MOF modified cathode has good anti-polarization performance, highest reaction kinetic activity and highest output power. Its exchange current density reaches 11.11 mA/m2, which is 2.14 times of that of the carbon felt cathode. Its highest output power reaches 8.27 mW/m2, about five times of that of the plain carbon felt cathode.
